Luthrie

The road to Luthrie from the main A92 road passes across low ground that regularly floods, especially in winter.  These floods attract large numbers of wigeon and smaller numbers of teal and mallard.  Shelduck, shoveler and pintail occasionally occur.  Waders also use the site, mostly lapwings, but black-tailed godwits sometimes visit.
